Hair Canvas is a group of independent, yet like minded hair artists. We are highly trained colorists specializing in Balayage and hair painting.
At Hair Canvas Salon we believe that through constant education and staying on the forefront of current trends, proper consultation, keeping the integrity of the hair and a customized haircut or style is the key to hair happiness.
Erin Coyle, Owner
Erin Coyle, owner of Hair Canvas, has had a love of hair since childhood. After attending Riccis academy of hair in 2003 she trained for two years exclusively in the color department at renowned Hopscotch salon in Greenwich. After years of working on the shoreline she wanted to get back to her hometown of charming Milford, CT and follow her dream of owning a salon.
She enjoys all aspects of hair color but her true passion lies in Balayage, highlighting, and corrective color. She has been featured various times on major hair platforms including masters of Balayage. Erin attends many classes throughout the year to stay on top of current trends in hair color and likes fine tuning her clients haircuts to compliment the placement of the hair painting and color.
Erin Coyle is now an educator, in addition to working behind the chair, and teaches classes on Balayage and highlights with the @thebalayagesquad.
In her time off Erin enjoys life with her husband Ryan and two sons.
